Come Let’s Dance

www.comeletsdance.org
Founded by our friend, Shana Gilbert, Come Let’s Dance is committed to empowering the kids, families, and communities within Uganda to create a healthy, self-sustainable future through education, micro-businesses, and outreach. Come Let’s Dance is is constant need of old laptops, tooth brushes, and black shoes (random, I know, but Ugandan children can’t attend school without them!)

Just One

Through innovative development of resources, creative awareness campaigns, educational gatherings, speaking engagements and activist mobilization, JustOne provides reprieve to the marginalized and the oppressed.

Founded by our friend, Charles Lee, JustOne believe in an “economic of enough” that is established through the cooperative practice of sharing and redistribution. These practices are central to the Laundry Love Project, A Trashcan can Make a Difference and the Activist initiatives. We hope to see these initiatives expand throughout the US and overseas giving others the opportunity to be the enough for those living in localized poverty.

Junky Car Club

Junky Car Club

www.junkycarclub.com
The Junky Car Club was established in the spring of 2006 when our friend Mike Foster decided to sell his fully loaded Infiniti G35 sports car to drive a junky 1993 Toyota Camry. As an act of rebellion against consumerism and with the desire to give more to worthy causes, Mike began to enlist his friends and people he worked with to join him in this experiment of driving clunkers and giving more.

The Junky Car Club has members in the US, Australia, Russia, England, New Zealand, Scotland and Singapore. So if you’re passionate about social justice causes and are committed to living a generous life, the Junky Car Club wants you.

Cross Bar X

Cross Bar X

www.crossbarxcamp.org
For the past 30 years Cross Bar X Youth Ranch has been blessed to provide a high quality, affordable, Christian summer camp program for urban and rural youth. Each program is designed to impact the lives of the campers in the one or two week periods that they are at the camp. Every camp has a a maximum of 25-40 campers so that each counselor has a maximum of 4 to 5 campers in their cabin. Our reason for doing what we do is clear – we want every camper that we interact with to form and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Origins Project

www.originsproject.org
Leif and I are part of The Origins Project. This network is a community of followers of Jesus who are passionate about seeing people know God and experience life as He intended. As we are guided by the Scriptures we will inspire one another to embrace innovation and creativity as a means to fulfill this mission. The three passions of The Origins Project include Jesus, Humanity, and Innovation

We are friends, pioneers, misfits, leaders, artists and innovators who want to dream and work together rather than alone in participating in God’s mission in this world. We are from different backgrounds and use different methods in different cultural contexts, but share the same passion to love, serve, and take risks to see others connect and experience the transforming love of God in Jesus. We share a commitment to the gospel of Jesus’ life, death, resurrection and the power of the Holy Spirit, to the Scriptures as God’s inspired Word, to the truths of the historical, orthodox creeds (e.g., The Nicene Creed, The Apostles’ Creed), to the missional vision of the Lausanne Covenant and as we serve on this mission to see others understand God’s dream for them as they follow Jesus.
