Over the last month, we’ve been busy organizing a month-long, 100-stop blog tour to celebrate the launch of Scouting the Divine: My Search for God in Wine, Wool, & Wild Honey. Margaret Feinberg traveled to spend time with a shepherd in Portland, a farmer in Nebraska, a beekeeper in Colorado and vintner in California. With each person, Margaret asked how they read passages of scripture’not as theologians’but in light of what they did everyday. Their answers changed the way I read scripture forever.
We’re excited for everyone who is participating including Mark Batterson, Jon Acuff, Dan Kimball, Scot McKnight, Cathleen Falsani, God Hungry, Tri Robinson, Eric Bryant, Amena Brown, Zach Hunter, Skye Jethani, Jonathan Merritt, Leonard Sweet, Rick McKinley, Luke Williams, Travis Mamone, Keith Jones, Building Church Leaders, Out of Ur, Rethink Monthly, Murph’s Place, Micah Foster, Troy Dooly, Luke Williams, Soul Munchies, Bag of Nothing,Bible Dude, Janet Oberholtzer, Kristina Petrella, Sharon Swing, ReadHearSeeFeel, Felicity White, Sarah Turnage, Tara Owens, Mike Foster, Rick Ellis, Justin Gerhardt, Leah Holamon, Flourish Part 1, Flourish Part 2 Matt Bortmess, Crystal Loxner, Nick Hoss, Heather Proctor, Michael Harrison, Patrick Mitchell, Kristine Remixed, Jim Martin, Scott Hodge, Robert Hostetler, Marcia Graham, Holly Barrett, Rob Duford, and many, many more.

This book is one of the best books I have read in a while. I do not write that lightly, as I am married to an author myself, and find myself critiquing books more than reading them.
Margaret’s ability to make a book come alive is truly a gift from the Lord.
Thank you Margaret for caring more than most might think is wise. And Leif, thank you for sharing such a wonderful women with the rest of us.

Hi there! I am a field leader for MOPS international and first heard Margaret speak at the MOPS summit via simulcast last April. Since then I have become a huge fan of her work and would love to be a part of writing a review etc. of Scouting the Divine. I would like to take November 10th if it is not already taken. If it is already taken, please email me a separate date. I would love a picture of the cover of Scouting the Divine as well as a pic of Margaret with a poo-covered sheep! (After reading the book, what would a review be without a picture of the sheep?) Thanks again for this opportunity. Yea!!! -Kristina
I won a copy of Scouting the Divine from Catalyst on Twitter and am really looking forward to reading it. I’d love to participate in the blog tour on November 18th–I’m sure that between sheep, wine, and bees I’ll have learned something worth sharing. …Even if it is a picture of Margaret with poo.
