Giveaway: Notetaker’s Interactive Bible

bible2If you are like me, you’re Bible is probably covered in writing. In between lines. On every margin. Above and even on the maps. Earlier this year, I had to get my Bible rebound because I didn’t want to miss out on all the jots and comments I have recorded from over the years.

One Bible-maker took this into mind and created an interactive Bible– chock full of space for notetakers like me!

In order to win a copy of this interactive notetaker’s Bible, simply leave a comment on this blog post at www.margaretfeinberg.com. The winner will be announced this Friday!

Hey Margaret, This is a great time to get logged in and start reading your blog. I have a messy Bible and enjoy the idea of a note taker’s Bible! Today was one of those days that I was under lining and scribbling everywhere I could in Mark Chpt 5 the account of Jarius and the woman with the issue of blood! I had never seen that Jesus meets us in our need no matter how little our faith is….if we will just seek Him in that need. Did you ever notice that she had had this affliction for 12 years and Jarius’ daughter was 12 years old? WOW! I don’t know what it means, but God has something there. It was a message that made sense of my testimony and I will not deflate God’s word to fit inside it, but let it expand my heart to know Him!
    In the Beloved,
    Anastasia

I would LOVE to win this! Just started the Sacred Echo study at my church, Northeast Christian in Louisville, KY. Exciting to learn how to “listen” better. :-) — Kathy

My teeny tiny Bible is about to give way with all of the notes and flowcharts overflowing the pages :)

    Ashleigh!

What an amazing idea….After 40 years of writing in two different Bibles…I am FULL. I had the first one rebound and then transferred EVERYTHING to my latest and now it is so full. I’ve started taping paper in to add things…The first time I transferred everything I was so blessed by reading all those years of notes…it really encouraged me. Even if I don’t win I will have to get one of these. To review all those years and make it all a bit more legible… :o) would be so good. Thanks for offering this giveaway.

Hey Margaret!!!! I’m so excited about this Notetaker’s Bible. I had an English Literature professor at Bellarmine University (Louisville, KY), Dr. O’Keefe, say, “An unmarked book, is an unread book.” That simple line has stuck with me forever. Every book, every magazine, even my church bulletin is covered in handwritten notes, dootles, and thoughts-for-later. Last year, I finally had to get a lined journal to take with me to Sunday School, church, and small-group studies because I am a note-taking QUEEN!!!!! In my previous career as a corporate marketing professional, I kept a notebook with me at all times. Now, as a student teacher and reading tutor, I’m still carrying around a notebook to capture thoughts and ideas to use in my own classroom one day. Teachers are some of the most innovative, creative people on the planet, and I look forward to adding to my own library of tricks.

God bless you, Margaret - I love reading your blogs and staying connected through Facebook.

Hey Margaret. I loved hearing at the AMIA conference-you were a real blessing!!!
I would love to have a new bible that I could “begin again” to read, mark and inwardly
    digest!! What a wonderful idea.

I actually saw this in the store the other day and made a note to add it to my birthday and Christmas wish lists for this year.

I’m currently using a parallel version Bible with 4 different versions. The neat thing is that I’m able to tell you what part of my life I was in based on which version the notes applied to.

A friend was looking through my Bible and stopped in Habakkuk. She looked at me quizzically and said, “post-its?”. I just shrugged and said, “James MacDonald”.

My ladies’ small group also just started “Sacred Echo”. Notes, notations, and yes, even post-its.

Thanks for such an amazing offer!

  11. xwailer says:

    great idea!

  12. susiebibb says:

I tend to not take notes. I don’t want to wreck my Bible with my ugly scribbles! Maybe this is what I need! ;)

  13. sarahhaas says:

This looks like a fantastic resource! Thanks :)

  14. firefeet4him says:

I have a tendency to 1. fill a Bible with scribbles and 2. have God tell me to give away the Bible just when I get it comfortably scribbled in! :)

I recently gave away my Bible, and have been looking for a replacement. This sounds like it would be perfect! Thanks for the great give-away Margaret.

  15. Jas_mich says:

What a great give-a-way! Love being able to have room in my Bible for notes! May God continue to bless you and your ministry!

  16. vjmorris says:

My writing is too big for the bible I have now. This notetaker’s bible would be a great addition to my quiet/study time.

    Thanks Val Morris

  17. jane.jasmine@gmail.com says:

OOOHHH! I’ve been looking for something like this!! I scoured Zondervan’s site for “large print” bibles - haha - and only ended up feeling very elderly. :) Awesome. I hope I win. :) :) :)

  18. valerieed says:

Would love to win this resource! How fantastic to not have to write in the tiny margins and bottom and top of my pages when I read something that impacts my life or when I hear something that I want to be sure to remember. Thanks for making me aware of this tool as well!! Valerie

  24. rfbryant says:

I started taking notes in my Bible at age 15 and that’s been ___ years ago! That was several Bibles ago — and I kept them all. I would LOVE having this notetakers Bible!

  25. rose says:

I have been watching DVD’s from the 2009 Catalyst Conference–and followed the trail to you. How grateful I am to be a follower of the Living God. Thank you for being a tool in His hands.

  26. mae4779 says:

I love my old Bible. It’s like a bible journal as I make comments, underline, and date sermons etc. It’s a way to see my “history” and to remember and reflect. I really think that Jesus might have been a notetaker if He had the opportunity. The bind of my bible is totally broken off, and it seems to be very difficult to continue to use it, I would enjoy immensely this new bible they are offering! PS Hope to see you soon in the Chicago area at Wheaton Academy, it is the high school my 2 children attended. :)Marty

  39. rcowie says:

My Zondervan NIV study Bible to which I love has been in storage in another state for the last 5 years. The one I have now is ok, however it lacks all my underlines and highlights and notes and stuff. Its awesome to look back at what you have underlined years ago.

  40. Holly Barrett says:

I normally use a Life Application NIV study Bible and write every possible note I can in every possible nook or cranny on every page! I’d love to have a NoteTakers Bible. What a great giveaway!

  41. cammohajerin says:

Awesome…I’ll definitely check it out. I wonder how thick the pages are cause I use pen and I don’t like writing in mine cause it bleeds through.

  42. Adag says:

I have just stumbled upon you Margaret through the Threads website; which also showed me that I could become a fan of yours on Facebook! I am so excited to learn more about you as I embark upon leading and encouraging other women to lead small group ministries in our church. I would also love to be entered into your drawing for the free Notetakers Bible. I was not even aware that anything such as it was available!
    Thanks!!!!

  43. Jade says:

Seriously? How cool is this? I would love to have a Bible with places to pen what God impresses upon my heart <3

    Thanks for the opportunity!

    Jade

  44. amyneff says:

Margaret, you are awesome! Thanks for the chance to win. Looking forward to hearing you speak at the MOPS Summit simulcast again this year! Amy

  45. silverfox1352 says:

You suggested it might be time for a new bible for me…maybe this Notetaker’s Bible is the one. Melinda

  46. Shari says:

For me too, learning, challenged, chastised, inspired = writing. If it really makes it into my brain or my heart, it almost always comes out of my pen. That helps me find God’s beautiful (or sometimes pointed) reminders on the days I’ve discovered that something once precious has leaked away. A note from the past is often the nudge I need to be refilled and refocused. Thanks for another thoughtful give-away Margaret!
