The Life of Jesus DVD Series

What are we supposed to do when the new life Jesus promised doesn't seem so abundant? Sometimes Christians need a fresh reminder of the incredible power that raised Lazarus from the dead. This study explores the main events in Jesus' life to understand what made him extraordinary and to learn how to draw on his transforming power. It is only when we drink deeply from the life of Christ that we can be rescued from our failures and experience greater vitality in daily life.

Hosted by Margaret Feinberg, who introduces each session from Israel, each of the approximately 26 minute video session is taught by a different teacher including Dr. Darrell Bock (Dallas Theological Seminary), Dr. Gary Burge (Wheaton College), Dr. Scott Duvall (Ouachita Baptist University), Prof. Susan Hecht (Denver Seminary), Dr. Mark Strauss (Bethel Seminary), and Matt Williams (Biola University). The sessions emphasize three components: Historical and cultural background; An engaging, close look at the biblical text and its meaning; Accurate, encouraging, and challenging applications of the Bible's message to life today.
